Why Neurobit?

Neurobit is an early stage AI/Health tech startup based in Singapore.

We are a team of experts in neuroscience, machine-learning and brain computer interface leveraging technology to make high quality sleep health accessible and affordable. We are building a disposable/reusable chest patch to diagnose sleep apnea conveniently and at scale. With over a billion people suffering from apnea, this is a disruptive new technology that can affect the lives of everyone.

Get a taste of the task:

Sample data from a chest patch based IMU is collected while sleeping. The raw data can be found here. This includes acceleration in x,y,z, rotational velocity in three axis and magnetic strength in three axis. The patch is worn at the centre of the chest (similar to how ECG belts are worn), we do not know the exact coordinate reference system. We are guessing that the x-y coordinate is along the plane of the subject while z is normal to the chest surface. The subject was already sleeping when recording started but woke up and sat on the bed before recording was stop. Your task is to find out 1) when the subject was lying in bed 2) if the subject was in bed, the sleeping position (Prone, Supine, Left or Right)
If you think you can solve both the problems in less than a week, please apply. We are excited to work together.

How to apply:

We value an engineering attitude more than academic credentials. Send your resume along with links to relevant projects that you have built previously or solve one of the problems described above. Send it over to careers@neurobit.io
